She just turned 7 months old and getting her was by far one of the best decisions Jim and I have made! She is an absolute joy to be around, so easy to train, and such a sweet and cuddly girl. Junkyard Jim’s Eastern NC BBQ Sauce
Ironically enough, this recipe for Eastern NC BBQ sauce was developed in Northern VA… I guess you can say we’re missing the great state of NC a bit! If you are at all familiar with North Carolina, then you know that the vinegar vs. tomato based BBQ debate is almost as serious as college football. There are several different variations of this BBQ sauce that we’ve experimented with, but today I’m going to share my favorite- the Brown Sugar + Garlic version! Starting Sweet Southern Grit
This past year has been crazy! I’ve moved twice (between two different states), switched jobs, got a puppy, got engaged (!!), got legally married (!!!), and started planning a wedding. I’ve learned a TON over the past year- from budgeting and losing weight, to becoming a military spouse, helicopter-puppy mom, and everything in between.
